We cordially welcome you to participate in the 14th Clonal Plant Workshop on October 18-22, 2024 at the Yuan Zhou Yi Ting Hotel (No. 618 Shifu Road, 远洲逸廷酒店,浙江台州椒江区市府大道西段618号) in Jiaojiang District, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, China. For over three decades, the Clonal Plant Workshops have gathered researchers from around the world to discuss and exchange ideas and findings on clonality, one of the most remarkable and distinguishing property of plants.

The theme for CLONE 2024 will be “Clonal Plants as Agents of Change”, focusing on how clonality shapes the composition and dynamics of communities and ecosystems, underlies biological invasions, can be enlisted in ecological restoration, and interacts with global change. Presentation of work on all other aspects of clonal plant biology is also highly welcome.

The workshop will feature keynote presentations by some well-known ecologists who have worked extensively on clonality and also researchers who do not focus on clonality but bring new ideas to the field. As in past workshops, the core of the meeting will be the talks contributed by all participants who wish to present.
